…ayup, good old turkey day is next week.  This year has zipped by.  Again.  Like all the other years have since I turned 30.  I swear, I fell asleep last night and I was 31.  Now, at 49, it’s all just a blur.

This year, my sister and brother-in-law will be here, so I’ve bought the turkey and all the fixings.  Took the turkey out last night, from freezer to fridge.  It’s a small one, a 9 pounder, but it’ll be enough for the 4 of us.

Man, I haven’t cooked a turkey in a long time.  Usually, I just go to Honey Bake Ham, and get some of their ham and turkey, then all I do is the side dishes and pie.  This year, I’m doing it all.  I figure, since I have a new oven, I might as well!

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?  Family?  Friends?  Cooking?  Going out?

It’s certainly been a long time since I blogged.  It’s been a long time since I’ve felt like it.

A big change here, is that I’m not paying for this blog.  My old place, which changed names many times, was bought for, as were the themes.  For some reason, that made me feel like I had to post to it, even when I didn’t feel like it.  I didn’t need the pressure.  I have enough of that in my every day life.  So, I took a very long break.

Now I’m back, not sure I have all that much to say, but at least I won’t feel like I’m wasting money if I don’t post.  🙂

All I have to do now is get my link roll up, and link to all the blogs I’ve been reading these past years.
